Appeal for information following livestock worrying incident |

Rural crime officers are reminding dog owners to keep their pets under control and appealing for information after an incident of livestock worrying in Nether Heyford. Between 2pm and 2.30pm on Friday, November 7, a dog was seen worrying livestock in a field off Middle Street, which resulted in the death of two sheep. When challenged the owner of the dog, who was a white woman in her early 50s and had two dogs – a husky and labrador-cross, struck the witness with her walking stick and walked off towards the centre of the village. The Rural Crime Team would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with information which could help identify the owner of the dog.
